DE-FOA-0002539: Technical Research Opportunities for Photovoltaic System End of Life Management

To support widespread PV deployment, any barriers should be considered and resolved including when PV system components reach their end-of-life (EoL). There are opportunities to improve PV EoL management techniques such as reuse, recovery, recycling, or disposal. These are not well understood since EoL volumes have been low. This RFI seeks to understand the current causes of EoL, how EoL is handled, and designs and actions to improve recycling and reuse.
