DE-FOA-0001048: Request for Information Regarding a Proposed Funding Opportunity Announcement: Administration of the Wave Energy Converter Prize

The U.S. Department of Energy Wind and Water Power Technologies Office Water Power Program hosted a webinar to introduce the Wave Energy Converter Prize concept and allow participants to provide non-binding input regarding the potential development and implementation of a prize challenge.  DOE wants to understand how recent FOA design decisions may affect the application response rate.  This announcement is intended to serve as a Notice of Intent of the upcoming FOA regarding Administration of the Wave Energy Converter Prize and a Request for Information to solicit information regarding potential response rate given the current design of the FOA.
