DE-FOA-0002578: Industrial Decarbonization: Renewable Process Heating from Concentrating Solar Thermal

Information is sought on the solar thermochemical decarbonizing of difficult to decarbonize industries.  SETO is specifically interested in information on the research, planning, and execution challenges that must be overcome to deploy concentrating solar thermal heat energy (with or without concomitant electrification) into iron ore reduction and steel manufacture, cement production and ammonia synthesis.
