The Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE)’s Building Technologies Office (BTO) has announced the availability of up to $6 million under the Building Energy Codes Program. The project goal is to investigate whether investing in education, training, and outreach programs can produce a significant change in single-family residential building code compliance rates. Through this FOA, EERE seeks to fund organizations representing either state or private entities to:
• Measure current single-family residential energy code compliance rates;
• Implement an education, training, and outreach program;
• Measure the post-program single-family residential building energy code compliance rates.
The eXCHANGE system is currently designed to enforce hard deadlines for Full Application submissions. The APPLY and SUBMIT buttons automatically disable at the defined submission deadlines. The intention of this design is to consistently enforce a standard deadline for all applicants.
Applicants that experience issues with submissions PRIOR to the FOA Deadline: In the event that an Applicant experiences technical difficulties with a submission, the Applicant should contact the eXCHANGE helpdesk for assistance (EERE-ExchangeSupport@hq.doe.gov).
